How to Become a Policemen Without a College Degree

I get somewhat irked when I see yet another Internet advertisement suggesting that you must obtain a college degree in order to be a policemen. Why? Because that is a bunch of bull. The cold hard fact is you do not need a criminal justice degree from a super expensive university in order to be a policemen. Those ads and the colleges responsible for those banner ads know good and well that a great deal of the police departments around the country do not require a college degree. The motivation factor behind those ads are completely, and utterly greed for more money. They will tell you that a college degree will assure a job in law enforcement, but the truth is you are not assured of anything.

To be quite honest with you, and not every body's going to share this with you, but in order to get the job as a police officer, you must do two things. First you must post a top score on the police exam, and secondly you must do well on the oral board interview. In fact, if you have a poor performance on any of the two, you'll get disqualified, degree or no degree. It's really that simple. The idea that you need a degree from a high priced institution in order to be a police officer is laughable.

The bottom-line is if you have good moral character, above average common sense, good driving history, and at least 21, with no felony convictions then you can be a policemen. Just like some people aren't built to be doctors, some are not cop material. And if you're not police material, you'll be found out during the selection process. Some people regardless of how smart they are, they just don't do well under stressful situations.

In conclusion, if you want to become a police officer as quickly as possible the only thing you need to worry about is getting a top score on both the police exam and the Oral Board Interview. Luckily getting a top score on both is not as difficult as you think if you knew all the questions going into it. You see, all you have to do to prepare for the police exam, as well as the interview is to get a comprehensive list of the most commonly asked questions and answers found here: http://www.PassThePoliceExam.com
